Chaperones and Adult Leaders:
Unlike our summer program, our retreats run Conference Style. This means that rather than registering as individuals (as you would for our summer camp), participants register as a church or group. Each church is responsible for providing their own chaperones. We ask that you have at least one adult advisor per eight youth of the same gender.
Crestfield has worked intentionally to provide a fun, safe, grow in your faith retreat. Part of the success of the retreat entails your assistance (and the leaders for your group) in having a presence with your youth and their participation in the retreat. Your most important role is to spend time getting to know your youth and where they are in their faith journey.
Registration & Liability Waivers:
As the group leader, you are responsible for collecting all money, registrations and liability waivers prior to the retreat. Each member of your group must have a signed and completed copy of the liability waiver found here. This is the only paperwork Crestfield requires upon arrival. Individual registration, health information, and emergency contacts are the responsibility of the group leader. Please have these forms completed and bring them with you to provide to us at registration.
No payment is necessary at the time of check-in. Crestfield will send you an invoice after the retreat. Once checked in, we will direct you to your lodging so you can get setteld in and then join the rest of the retreat at the designated time.
Lodging is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Crestfield reserves the right to move your group to best accommodate all groups attending the retreat.
There MAY be a nurse for consultation but the expectation is that each group handles medications and first aid needs internally and independently within the group. Therefore, please make sure you know all of your group's dietary and medical needs.
Meals will be served in the Dining Hall. Breakfast will typically be held at 8:30am, lunch at 12:30pm and dinner at 5:30 pm. We will also provide an evening snack when applicable.
